It’s Heath, Like The Bar.
My name is Heath. I am an automotive photographer & videographer in Los Angeles currently studying at USC.
As a photographer over the past five years, I have captured various events, landscapes, people, and vehicles. Earlier on in my journey, I was solely focused on landscape and portrait photography. It wasn’t until after my junior year in high school that my focus would shift to shooting the automotive scene.
That summer, I joined my friends’ car club having no knowledge about the car scene. With an open mind and a camera in hand, I took up the position of social media manager. From this experience, I learned that unique and quality content was key to grow our club’s gathering. With this said, every weekend I would immerse myself in the local car culture and take photos of various cars at events.
Not before long, I would have an itch to join the tuner scene and I would buy my project car and first love, a 1988 RHD BMW E30 Touring.
After some time of shooting my club’s events, I began to get requests from people I knew within the local car scene to take photos of their builds. Eventually, these shoots with friends turned into a side hustle that I became extremely passionate about because I got to combine my love of photography with my love for cars.
